Please join us on March 25 at Trios Restaurant & Jazz Club for an evening of jazz, art, and excellent food. The third annual Jazzed About Art event features live performances by internationally known artist Danny Lerman alongside South Bend’s own Herb Wilson Ensemble. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in a live art auction, with original pieces donated by local artists.
The proceeds from the event support complementary supportive healing practices such as the Pink Ribbon program, massage therapy, acupuncture, pet therapy and healing touch. These services, many of which are not covered by insurance, give cancer patients comfort and support when they are most in need.
The evening, with its blend of music, tantalizing Cajun-themed menu, and camaraderie, is also a chance for the community to celebrate its growing health and strength, and for us to look to the future of cancer care: Memorial’s new Cancer Center planned for later in 2010.
